Top Sound

Sweden’s Top Sound recently released a new single “A Matter of Precision” as a free download available on Friendly Noise. Along with the piano-driven single is a second track, “Francophile”, chalk full of inelastic guitar riffs, distinct claps, and vaporous French vocals that come together in a completely cherubic and sugar coated pop sound.

Fare Soldi Capri Sonne

I was browsing a favorite SF music blog, Big Stereo, for some mixes to accompany my Sunday mood and stumbled upon these 40-some minutes of shiny sounds by Italians, Fare Soldi. The mix is called Capri Sonne and spans quite a few genres that will set the mood for some dance floor atomic bombings.

I can never get enough Calvin Harris… He gets his Faygo Orange pop hat on for this track, the bright piano really warms it up, not quite to the temperature of an Austin Texas scorching summer day, but enough to get you up and moving. Also, the Fake Blood standard hi-energy raved remix.

After about a month on the road through Spain, Portugal and elsewhere, I was delighted to have Phoenix‘s latest endeavor, Wolfgang Amadeus, burning the flesh of my auditory canals since I returned to the States and jumped back into perpetual background music comfort. Shortly thereafter, the the killer bee swarm of remixes surfaced and held ascendancy over the airwaves. Dozens of supacool artists/remixers jumped all over this album and came out with some lavish new version 2.0s to accompany the originals. Some favorites below, and pick up the album!

Diplo+Switch… what can be said? Morphing two musical maestros into one is bound to be completely absurd. With the two varying in musical styles, it is interesting to see the outcome. This track is killing it in my head all day.
